The UMW (United Methodist Women ) will begin the fall season with Executive Board meeting on the second Monday of every other month ,starting in September, and circles meeting at 10:30 AM (Bible Study and Social Concerns), 11:00 AM (Dorcas) and 7:00 PM (ANGEL, consisting mostly of working women ) on the second Thursday of every month .
We have three general meetings a year, one of which is an evening dinner meeting .
We are looking for ladies who have not yet committed themselves to joining us in mission , to our church,to the community ,to the commonwealth, the nation and to the world .
If you are interested in reaching out to " the least, the lost and the left-behind" , especially women, children and youth , please see us in the Sunday School lobby during Open House or visit one of the circles on Thursday , September 15 . We would love for you to visit any or all of us ! United Methodist Women

Our mission is to love God, grow in faith and serve Christ.
Our vision for accomplishing this mission is to:
Fall in love with God through Christ-Centered Worship.
Grow as disciples of Christ in small groups.
Serve Christ through gift-based team ministry.
Who We Are


Main Street United Methodist Church is one of the oldest United Methodist churches in the Shenandoah Valley and is located in the heart of downtown Waynesboro, Virginia.   Main Street is an active, growing community of faith through Christian Education, Missions and Community Outreach programs, fellowship, music and Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry.  The well-rounded, Christian oriented Preschool program is based on the curriculum of the United Methodist Church.   Main Street has an active United Methodist Women group.   Main Street is a Stephen Ministry congregation with lay people who have been specially trained to provide uniquely Christian care to those experiencing important or difficult situations.
Main Street Church is handicap accessible and has an elevator.
